Reminder system
Our practice is committed to preventive care. Your doctor will seek your permission to be included on our reminder system. We may issue you with a reminder notice from time to time offering you preventive health services appropriate to your care.
If you do not wish to be part of this system, please let your doctor or reception staff know. As we also have a text reminder system for upcoming appointments, please ensure staff have your current mobile number.
Prescriptions
Following GP approval repeat prescriptions can be filled without consultations. A standard fee of $12 applies for this service, which is to be paid upon collection of the prescription.
Results
Your doctor will advise when he or she expects results to be available. Patients can call the clinic between 9.00 am and 11.30 am, and 2.00 pm and 4.30 pm on 1300 068 3482 to receive results.
Referrals
Please note if your GP refers you to another service provider, out of pocket expenses may apply. Prior to making an appointment we encourage patients to make enquiries about the anticipated costs. Alternative providers can be sought by your GP if costs are a barrier to care.
Zero tolerance policy
All our staff are trained and dedicated to help you, please treat them with respect and courtesy. At our clinics we have a zero tolerance policy for threatening, violent or aggressive behaviour. This includes shouting, swearing, aggressive actions, threats, inappropriate gestures and name calling. Abusive behaviour will result in individuals being asked to leave the clinic. Refusal to leave will result in the Police being contacted.
